I prayed to God for more speaking engagements. He answered! This summer alone our ministry has received 5 speaking engagement requests and arranged for me to attend a conference as well as a speaking and writing workshop. Distractions
It is amazing how heavy my limbs feel as the household duties start to pile up. Or how I all of a sudden want to randomly chat with a friend the closer I get to the deadline for an assignment. My daughter’s piano teacher made it clear to me that memorizing and reciting mnemonic phrases for musical notes is not the same as playing the music correctly. My daughter knows “every good boy does fine” and “grizzly bears don’t fear anything.” These two phrases have helped her learn the notes.
