Spend time in the Word every day. Not sometimes. Not when you feel like it. Not when the pressure is high. But every day. Yes, that means every 24 hours. 🙂
Why? Because you, like me, have a sin nature that wants to rule you and an enemy that wants to destroy you. The only way to see consistent victory and achieve healthy Godly outcomes is to do things His way and in His strength as outlined in His Word, the Bible—and the only way to know His Word is to read it.
Not sure where to start? You find the Bible is too hard to read, understand, and apply to everyday life? Do you not own a Bible?
Got it!
There’s an app for that: First5 is one of many!
You can start here and in your quiet time ask God to show you other ways you may address all the legitimate obstacles that may be hindering your daily time in His Word.
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
Joshua 1:18
